I first went to Venice on honeymoon and, though it is a very old cliché, the city enchanted me. It has been said time and time again that this magical place is an artist's paradise - and it is true. The combination of beautiful architecture, water, light, reflection and a good deal of decay is a heady mix which just demands to be painted.

My work in this area is quite small but each piece takes a considerable time and so is reflected in the number of pieces available. I am pleased to say this has been a very popular subject with my collectors and so originals are limited in number.

Recently my works have been included in the annual 'Venice in Peril' exhibition at the Gallery of W.H. Patterson 19 Albemarle Street London which raises funds to help save the city from the ravages of time and pollution.
